A locally rooted practice bringing integrated primary care and mental health services to Williston, North Dakota.
ThriveWell Health began long before the practice opened its doors — it grew from a deeply personal calling. Anna's journey into healthcare started early in life, inspired by her aunt, Colleen Bannon, a postpartum nurse whose compassionate work in underserved communities exemplified humility and service. Though she passed away in 2010, her legacy continues to shape how Anna practices medicine today.
Anna has been privileged to care for patients since 2009 across a variety of settings and stages of life. She became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2021, and completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) education in 2025 — all through Frontier Nursing University.
Since February 2020, Anna has lived and practiced in Williston, North Dakota. This community has become home, and caring for the individuals and families who live here is a privilege she does not take for granted. ThriveWell Health was founded here with a simple but meaningful vision: to create a healthcare experience where patients feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.
We believe exceptional healthcare is built on relationships. It begins with listening, understanding each person's unique story, and partnering together to develop a plan that supports long-term health and well-being.
Our practice integrates primary care and psychiatric mental health, recognizing that physical and emotional health are deeply connected. Whether you are seeking preventive care, management of a chronic condition, treatment for an acute illness, or support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other mental health concerns, our goal is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to your individual needs.
At ThriveWell Health, you can expect thoughtful, unhurried appointments in a welcoming environment where your questions are encouraged, your concerns are respected, and your goals matter. We believe healthcare is more than diagnosing conditions or prescribing treatments — it is about earning trust, fostering hope, and walking alongside patients through every season of life.

Registered Nurse
Makenzie has been an integral part of Anna's practice since 2022, supporting patients throughout their primary care and mental health journeys with warmth, skill, and genuine compassion. She shares Anna's deep commitment to whole-person care and the values that ThriveWell was built upon, making her a natural and perfect fit for the ThriveWell team.
In her role as a Registered Nurse, Makenzie is often the first and most reassuring presence patients meet. She takes time to listen, answer questions, and make every visit feel safe and welcoming, whether someone is here for a routine checkup, a new concern, or ongoing mental health support.
Outside the clinic, Makenzie enjoys spending time with her family and playing board games of all kinds. Her genuine warmth and steady, dependable care embody exactly what it means to root, rise, and flourish at ThriveWell.
We start with a strong foundation — comprehensive assessments, active listening, and building trust from your very first visit.
We support steady, sustainable progress in both physical and mental health, adjusting care plans as your needs evolve.
Our goal is not just treatment — it's helping you and your family truly thrive, long-term.
